Interesting little glitch I noticed on the app today.
App is showing "ready for check-in" for my trip tomorrow, but it is more than 24 hours from departure. 6:45 AM and the flight departs at 9:00 AM.
When I try to check-in, it says I cannot check in as flight is more than 24 hours away.
Checking on website, the trip does NOT have the "check-in" button showing.

Is this an international or domestic flight? I think that means you have done all paperwork to be READY to checkin when checkin is available. Not that you can check in now.

With the most recent app update, I'm glad they finally rotated the seatmap so it scrolls up and down vs left to right. This has been a long standing pet peeve of mine.
I do, however, dislike how they changed the flight display for IRROPS. My flight this morning is delayed by two hours for crew rest, so I figured I'd poke around and see what other options I might have to choose from. I am booked MCI-EWR, though thought I might do MCI-DEN-LGA. I saw no way to view seats on any of the flights I was being offered and the confirm button immediately confirmed me vs. taking me to a final landing page to show the flight(s) I was booked on and the new flights. As such, I had to pull out my laptop and I was luckily able to move back to the nonstop, despite the delay, as it still got me in a bit sooner than the rebooked flights I chose.
Overall, the design is nice, but I absolutely do not like these two "features". One benefit of seeing open seats is avoiding a middle seat which I would have been stuck in on DEN-LGA had I remained on the new flights

It also does not tell you what cabin you're going to book into, so you can easily inadvertently downgrade from J to Y. They really need to change this.

Mine is crashing any time I bring it back up (on Android), to the point my phone is asking if I want to disable the app.
Eg. I bring it up, check flight status, go do something else, then come back to check status again, and it crashes.

Same here. Constant crashes, especially during booking process. It is almost like United does not want me to, which I can understand given how unprofitable I am as a customer

My Android phone was doing that today, too. All I was doing was checking my wife's weekly PQP from her Quest card for the past month. And I didn't even notice the United app crash.
