KY Derby Also-Ran Closes Out Virginia Derby's Turf Era
The $500,000 Virginia Derby (G3T) won't have to wait until 2025 to see a Kentucky Derby (G1) runner as Grand Mo the First, 18th at Churchill Downs May 4, joins a field of 12 at Colonial Downs Sept. 7. The race switches to dirt next year.
